  • BREAKING NEWS:CIO unleashes shocking classified documents on Grace Mugabe as Zanu PF dogs fights gets nasty

Reports date back to as far back as 1985 when the then Head of the Presidential security reported that Zim number 2 (meaning Robert Mugabe as he was the prime minister then) was in a relationship with an Air Force official’s wife.

The Head of Presidential security stated that he feared that the husband would eventually know as the wife written name ‘Grace Marufu’ has been going with the Prime Minister on oversees trips and also an incident that happened when she worked late and the Prime Minister had sex with her in the home office a few doors from his wife Sally.

He also wrote that there is need to separate them as even the loyal and respectful Sally might blew the whistle. In 1986 another security official with a different signature wrote a report about how Grace Marufu had technically moved to her maternal home together with her son whose birth certificate copy named him as Russell Goreraza as he is fighting with her mainly over her neglecting her duties as a wife. In early 1987 she is given a driver who reported to the head of Security that she is seeing a Harare Businessman and how he sometimes sleeps over at her new place. In August 1987 there is indication that she almost died after aborting a pregnancy that was claimed to have been that of Robert Mugabe that’s according to a debrief of one of her aids at that time. In November 1987 a meeting was held between Mugabe and an Air-force Official believed to be the Husband of Grace Marufu where he refused to divorce her , another meeting was held late December and he agreed to divorce by word but did not do so at the registry. The written report pointed out that they had gentlemen agreement that he would stay away from her. The aid reported that Grace went to his house a couple of times soon after the gentlemen agreement. Mugabe formally get introduced to the family in 1988 and everything is kept hush hush. Grace fell pregnant with Bona in late 1988 prior to that she made several trips to China and Europe together with the president a source in the close protection team said the President had to be enhanced in order to impregnate the girlfriend. Mugabe send relatives to pay Lobola with a Matibiri and Sabina leading the delegation, his other brother Donato refused saying he cant betray Sally. Bona is born in 1989 , Sally heard that the daughter was his husband’s it was the first time she had a row with the husband in front of aids , stormed out of the house and was stopped at the airport by security details wanting to leave for Ghana. She refuses to go back to the state house and finally went to Zvimba where she was consolled with Donato she stayed for a week and left after she was told that he wanted the kid only and not the wife. Donato gave her a drawn potrait of a monkey that broke the ice she loved monkeys, she returned back to the state house and things were never the same again though Mugabe still showed her affection it wasnt the same, her medical problems showed she had stress, treated for depression, going through therapy and that she had a kidney problem.

Even though Grace had a kid with the president there is another report in 1990 that shows she was still in a relationship with the businessman who paid her security details not to report about her shenanigans. In 1991 she was involved in a relationship with her protector who later died in a car crush. In late 1991 she had an argument with the President whom she accused of not sleeping with her and spending with sick Sally. In 1992 she accompanied the president on almost every trip while at it a report surface that he was again enhanced or did some artificial insemination and in early 1993 she was visibly pregnant. Robert jnr was born one of the aids pointed the love that the president have for the boy how he woke up when he cries, he wash him everyday and also stated that Grace seems to be having withdrawal syndrome since the birth of the kids and hardly takes care of him. In that year Russel Goreraza start staying with Grace”s brother Reward Marufu. The file state that the relation between the Senior Airman and the President is okay. In 1994 and 1995 she had two abortion which she claimed were miscarriage but there were the kids of Peter Pamire”s. The president knew about the relationship between the two since late 80s. Stanley Goreraza got divorced to Grace Mugabe on condition that he lie low, obtain some qualification , upgrade his Airman skills in friendly countries outside Zimbabwe on government scholarships, chose a couple of houses anyway in the world and a handsome yearly pay. It was the following year 1996 that Grace had another pregnancy of Peter Pamire that he Peter threatened to expose their relationship, the last conversation they had three days before he left for South Africa for a business trip that was tapped in a hotel there were. Pamire told her that he want her to keep the baby in which Grace argued that all the kids go through DNA and if they don’t match him(President) she is dead and him as well but Pamire said Mugabe wont do anything to him. Pamire left for South Africa and on his way back the documents state that a covert operation was assigned to a Black Operation Unit to take action. A short note from a Nathan Shamuyarira Jnr pointed that he was the sweeper (remove or plant evidence) soon after the operation. The file however doesnt states whether Grace kept the baby if she did then Chatunga is Pamire”s son and not Mugabe’s. 1997 two of her bodyguards died one in a car crush and another in a suspected food poison.

There had imported 4 buses from the UK and the report state that there had got money from Grace Mugabe as there were reported to be in a relationship with her. Both were asked about it and admitted that on more than five occasion there slept with her but said that it was not their will as she threatened them that if they do not she would report them to her husband for sexual harassment. Besides she was paying them well on top of that. In 1999 the then head of the first Lady security wanted an all women escort team but was refused again four CIO operative charged with protecting her died in a space of one year having gone through various disciplinary hearings but kept in her close protection team. The head of security made a plea that maybe the DG should hand over the intelligence to the Minister as now his Security Details are offering to resign than to protect the first lady. Rather her security team was put on a rotation system and some were even Ndebele’s who would pretend as if they cant speak shona with her again it didnt work as they requested withdrawal from the detail, it was only in the whole of 2000 that she a couple of Angolans who were as tough as nail that no one in the close protection Unit died.

In 2001 she was at it again this time with James Makamba , four year prior to confirmation of their relationship she had a short relationship with him and source said she helped him sat up his business empire and also Joy TV. Surveillance reports showed that Makamba would travel first before Grace follows alleged on a different passport to avoid detection. The Central Intelligence compiled a dossier on her but no one wanted to make a move on her, also her link to Solomon Mujuru on a number of business ventures made it impossible to eliminate him as a number of people in the politburo had interest in his business empire and wouldn’t want him completely out of the way. The first move on him was on Joy TV and he was told that his business empire will crumble but again he was assured by Rex Nhongo that he will get his protection. Between 2002 to early 2004 she slept with Makamba more than twenty times some pictures in the file shows her in his blue shirt, some she is koming his beard with a brush. The rest are memory sticks that have passwords. Then Bank transfares in Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, China ,Virgin Island and Dubai between Grace and Makamba some in companies there are registered as directors.

By the time he was arrested he had been at the farm with Grace an account of the security detail who was with her that day pointed that from the office where “there was a meeting Makamba went to the main house after ten minutes the first lady followed after telling her that she wanna be alone, she however followed after five minutes and said she found them already having sex” she said she was paid a five hundred US dollars and told to shut up. The Joint Operations Committee was handed the dossier and they tasked Nicholas Goche who is one of the closest people to Mugabe to go and talk to him about this, he did and that was the start of Makamba ending and also the tightening of Grace sheninegans. Makamba was arrested a week after Goche a meeting with the President. Reports also showed how Solomon Mujuru went to see Chihuri at his house for the release of Makamba but Chihuri told him that he could not as it is coming from the Office of President. In mid 2004 she started dating Gono whom he calls bhudhi(brother) as they come from the same province and also close to her brother Reward Marufu. Surveillance on them showed that they had sex at the same Grace’s farm she used with Makamba for nine occassion, In China there shared a bedroom four times, In Singapore again four times, In Malaysia there are no records but there is indication that they have been in the country more than eight time at the sametime. The file states that another meeting was held but this time Goche refused to hand over the intelligence to the president siting the closeness of the president and Gono. ” he cant do wrong in his eyes” , minutes showed that he even went as far as saying it might be taken as disinformation or power play. The meeting also showed how the then head of Mugabe’s Protection Service Winston Changara briefed the DG about his concern over Grace’s escapedes with Gono but nothing was done. Changara told the DG that if nothing is done over stipulated time he himself would confront Grace, however when the time elapsed he didnt but reported to Mugabe’s sister Sabina but she warned him that it might backfire to him.

Senior CIO’s Fired As Mnangagwa Continues to Wipe Out Mugabe Loyalists

Senior secret service operatives who were put on one-year renewable contracts after reaching their retirement age have now been released from the CIO, the Dailynews has reported.

Reports also suggest that there are some senior officers whose employment contracts were terminated as well even though they were still to reach retirement age, although this could not be verified at the time of going to print.

“Most of the people were given their letters of termination last week. Those who were affected had, in most cases, reached the age of 55. There were some, however, who had not reached that age but were also affected by the changes,” a high-level source told the Daily News last week.

“Most of those affected had retired and were on yearly contracts… Most of those affected are war veterans and other career agents who were hanging onto their jobs because of the camaraderie that existed between them and their superiors”.

Efforts to get a comment from Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, who is responsible for both the intelligence and defence portfolios, were fruitless.

The new CIO director-general, Isaac Moyo, was also not available for comment.

Since assuming office late last year, Mnangagwa’s administration has made far-reaching changes in the security services, perhaps to get loyalists in strategic positions while getting rid of those who were sympathetic to his predecessor — ousted former president Robert Mugabe.

In the CIO, Mnangagwa appointed Moyo — the country’s former ambassador to South Africa — to head the secretive spy service ahead of Aaron Nhepera whom many thought was a shoo in for the position.

Nhepera was the acting spy chief until December 8 when Moyo was made CIO director-general.

Mnangagwa also rang changes in the Zimbabwe Defence Forces and the Zimbabwe Republic Police where long-serving commissioner-general Augustine Chihuri was retired.

The changes, according to analysts, are meant to strengthen Mnangagwa’s hand by getting rid of spies perceived to be loyal to Mugabe and the vanquished Generation 40 (G40) cabal.

G40 had fought a bitter war of attrition against Team Lacoste but could not stand a chance when the military showed its muscle last November by staging a soft coup that targeted its members, including Mugabe.

Several G40 functionaries were arrested on a litany of allegations during the month-long military intervention, while others had to skip the country.

The changes in the security sector are also meant to support Finance and Economic Development minister Patrick Chinamasa’s austerity measures that include trimming government expenditure.

Currently, over 70 percent of the national budget is going towards staff costs.

To rein in runaway expenditure, Chinamasa has adopted a policy to retire those who have reached the retirement age.

While the retirement age for civil servants is 65, in the secret service officers can exit the service at 55, if not earlier.

Because of the mistrusts currently obtaining between Mnangagwa’s administration and security personnel who were close to Mugabe, the changes do not come as a surprise.

University of Zimbabwe political science lecturer Eldred Masunungure opined recently that after going through a transition of the nature witnessed in Zimbabwe, it was inevitable that such clean-up of State security institutions would follow.

Mnangagwa rode to power with the help of the military after his Team Lacoste faction had been completely overwhelmed by G40.

When it stepped in, the military did not seek assistance from the police or the CIO.

In fact, it clamped down on these two security institutions because they were thought to be loyal to Mugabe and G40.

Masunungure has observed that the Lacoste faction was now cleaning any G40-infested institution, among them the police and the CIO, which is now headed by a Mnangagwa loyalist.

“The CIO was also perceived to be a pillar of the G40 camp. I don’t think it will end there but will extend to other departments of government — it was expected that the vanquished faction will pay a heavy price,” said Masunungure.

Other analysts have criticised the shake-up of security services as akin to a cleansing exercise targeting those who supped with the G40 faction.

They argued that security sector reform entails reorienting, retraining officers, changing training curriculums to embrace more rights based and non-adversarial approaches, changing service charters, among other things.

Political analyst, Maxwell Saungweme, argued recently that what is currently obtaining is political factional cleansing and purging of G40-aligned service women and men, adding that the whole exercise does not transform the security sector into a professional outfit but politicises it.

“The idea is to remain with Lacoste aligned and loyal service women and men. These reduce our security service to be political running dogs of the ruling faction than a professional service loyal to country.

“Calling what is happening security sector reform is ignorant and uninformed. Proper reforms are preceded by proper human resources and skills audit of the force, consultation around which model of reforms is ideal and then do the reforms.

“What is happening is just like how G40 ministers were chased around. That was not reform but factional purging,” said Saungweme.

Robert Mugabe Snatches Presidential Mercedes-Benz Limo From Mnangagwa But Denied ZIM 1 Number Plate

FORMER president Robert Mugabe has been given the iconic Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard limousine he was using for official duties as part of his exit package following his dramatic ouster last November, the Zimbabwe Independent has established.

By Bernard Mpofu

Zim 1 … The old and new look of the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard limousine given to former leader Robert Mugabe.

The ultra-luxurious bulletproof and blast-proof car, whose cost is estimated at US$1,6 million, has been outfitted with civilian registration plates.

Mugabe buckled to pressure on November 21 after he was placed under house arrest by the army, expelled from the ruling Zanu PF and threatened with impeachment.

His successor, Emmerson Mnangagwa, announced in December that Mugabe would get a house, a fleet of private cars and was guaranteed first-class air travel as part of a retirement package funded by the state.

Details of the long-time leader’s exit package were published in the Government Gazette in December, in terms of Section 3(1) of the Presidential Pension and Retirement Benefits Act.

Sources familiar with developments at Mugabe’s palatial “Blue Roof” home in Borrowdale suburb said the limousine now has ordinary yellow number plates (AAX 3270). Before that the car was registered as “Zim 1”.

Sources said since his return from an annual holiday, the Mercedes-Benz S600 has been parked at his home.

“The old man has been keeping a low profile since his retirement. The number of soldiers and security details at his mansion has also been reduced. He has not been frequenting his Zvimba rural home too,” a source said.

The retired president will also be entitled to first-class overseas air travel restricted to four state-funded trips per year and three cars — a Mercedes-Benz S600 series sedan, a four-wheel drive vehicle and a pick-up truck. Government also undertook to pay for his fuel.

Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa assured African Union leaders at the just-ended AU summit that Mugabe is well and safe.
“May I inform this august chamber that, your brother President Mugabe is safe, secure and well,” Mnangagwa told regional leaders.

Towards the tail end of his rule, Mugabe’s wife Grace, full throttle in expanding her real estate portfolio, splurged millions of dollars on houses, cars and jewellery despite the fact that her business empire, under the Gushungo Holdings’ Alpha and Omega Dairies banner, is in the doldrums, incurring perennial losses since 2013.

In 2011, Grace and her former business partner, Ping Sung Hsieh — a Taiwanese-born South African — bought trucks, trailers and equipment worth almost US$1 million with money transferred through the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.

Grace and Hsieh were later locked in a fight over a US$5 million mansion in Hong Kong.

Grace’s Mazowe empire already includes an opulent double-storey mansion on Mapfeni Farm, which can be seen from Manzou Farm where she began evicting thousands of villagers in 2011 to establish a game park. There is also a dairy farm, orphanage and a school. Grace has also grabbed land which belonged to the former Zimbabwe Stock Exchange-listed agro-producer Interfresh’s Mazowe Citrus Estates.-AMH

After Getting Trendy Cars From President Mnangagwa, Now Masvingo Chiefs Ask For Sugarcane Plots

GWERU – It is never enough for Masvingo traditional chiefs. After receiving trendy 4 x 4 twin cabs from President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Saturday last week, chiefs from Masvingo went on to demand plots from Tongaat Hullet sugar estate to be distributed among them.
Their demands contradict those made by the Midlands chiefs who pleaded with Mnangagwa for the reopening of Zisco and Zimasco so that jobs can be created for the youth.
Mnangagwa promised to attend to the demands made by the Midlands chiefs but said nothing about the request by Masvingo chiefs.
The demands by the chiefs from Masvingo is despite that 2 000 workers are bound to lose jobs at Tongaat following the designation of 4 000 hectares of the company’s estate which the Government parcelled out to new farmers last year. There are also 400 contract workers who had their contracts prematurely terminated in December last year again due to the same problem.
Speaking on behalf of traditional chiefs from Masvingo, Chief Chitanga told Mnangagwa that as chiefs they were promised part of the Tongaat estate and they wanted to know when this pledge was going to be honoured.
He complained that the process was taking too long.
“As a representative of chiefs from Masvingo Province, I want to thank the President for giving us cars because transport is a problem for many of us. However, I want to tell the President that we were promised Tongaat sugarcane farms but up to now we have not received anything and the process is taking too long.  We plead with the Government to speed up the process,” said Chief Chitanga.
During the same event Midlands chiefs represented by Chief Ngungubali, pleaded with Mnangagwa for the reopening of Shabani Mine, Zisco Steel and Zimasco.
“As Midlands province’s chiefs we have a number of concerns in our areas and the main one being the reopening of Shabani and Ziscosteel. We also appeal for Government to ensure that Fidelity Printers do not just buy minerals from our communities but should plough back a fraction of what they get.
“Child marriages are one of the issues of concern and we ask Government to give us powers to preside over such cases in order to reduce this social scourge,” said Chief Ngungubani.
Mnangagwa promised to reopen Shabani Mashaba Mines and Zisco. He said he will sit with the Minister of Justice to discuss the issue of child marriages.

President Mnangagwa Chiefs’ Car Scheme Disgusts Zimbabweans As Pregnant Women Are Ferried to Hospitals In Wheelbarrows

•    Pregnant women ferried to hospitals in wheelbarrows
•    Police getting transport from complainants

The traditional leaders motor car scheme in which Government is supplying chiefs with 280 trendy cars (by Zimbabwean standards) at an estimated cost of $12m has caused immense anger among Zimbabweans; the worst since President Emmerson Mnangagwa took over power in November last year.
Zimbabweans across the board using social media and other platforms have expressed disgust at Government for pampering chiefs with luxuries at a time when hospitals have no ambulances, Police stations have no vehicles and many critical Government departments are hamstrung by lack of transport.
For once there is general consensus and one chorus on social media that Government’s priorities are misplaced and pictures of pole and dagga schools, broken down ambulances and villagers ferried to hospitals in wheelbarrows are all over.
President Mnangagwa issued out 52 double cab vehicles to chiefs last Saturday after meeting the traditional leaders in Gweru. He said the rest of the vehicles will be coming in batches.
People questioned Government’s motive in supplying luxury cars to the chief and the purpose of those cars.
NPP spokesperson, Jeffreson Chitando said it is not wrong for chiefs to get cars but the timing is misplaced.
“This shows that Mnangagwa is not considerate to Zimbabweans. The sick are being ferried to hospitals in wheelbarrows, there are no chalks in schools and Police officers are using public transport to go and arrest suspects.
“We thought we now have Mnangagwa but we have gone back to Mugabe where chiefs are being bought so that they will frog-march villagers to polling stations. Chiefs must not think that Government likes them when it doesn’t like their subjects. These are crocodile tears and it is a project to retain power,” said Chitando.
A senior hospital official who declined to be named said there are only 40% of the required ambulances in hospitals and most of them are either broken down or old hence the critical shortage of ambulance service. He said the situation was made worse by the fact that ambulances are also used as service cars; transporting patients’ food, hospital staff, drugs and other material.
“The ideal situation is for a hospital to have two ambulances on stand-by all the time but you rarely get this happening,” said the medical doctor.
He said many people who are involved in accidents die because either they fail to get ambulances or they are ferried by lay persons in vehicles that are not suitable for the injured.
