A NIGHT of beer and laughter at Jowa Ngadzi Business Centre in Tsholotsho turned into a horror scene after a man was brutally stabbed to death over spilled beer.
Police have launched a manhunt for Mehluli Moyo (33) who is accused of killing Luckmore Nhliziyo (22) last Thursday.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the suspect lost his temper after the victim mistakenly knocked over his beer.
“The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim, Luckmore Nhliziyo, with an okapi multiple times all over the body after an argument during a beer drinking spree,” said Comm Nyathi.
Nhliziyo collapsed and died on the spot.
Police are appealing to members of the public to assist.
“Police in Tsholotsho are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of the suspect,” said Comm Nyathi.
Anyone with information should report to the nearest police station.
