to take delivery of a new generation of cutting-edge radiotherapy machines
early next year after Treasury finalised payment of the initial deposits for
the equipment, which will be installed at two major referral hospitals.
The machines,
which are currently under manufacture, are being procured using US$30 million
raised from the sugar tax introduced in the 2024 National Budget.
