ZANU-PF National Chairman, Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, has called on churches to venture into business to sustain themselves and their congregants.
Speaking at the Johane the Fifth of Africa International Church Restoration Prayer in Zimunya, Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri, who was represented by the party’s deputy National Political Commissar, Cde Webster Shamu emphasized the need for churches to diversify into sectors like mining, farming, and business.
“The church should lead by example, demonstrating the power of collective effort and entrepreneurship in lifting communities,” she said.
Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri urged congregants to remain committed to national development, praising the church’s role in promoting unity, discipline, and moral values.
“The nation is built on prayer, unity, and hard work. As Government, we value the church’s contribution in shaping responsible citizens,” she said.

As the church, we commit to praying for our nation and its leaders, that we may walk in harmony and achieve greatness. We believe in the power of prayer and collective effort to bring about positive change in our communities.
“We are humbled by your presence, Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri. Your message resonates with our vision of a united and prosperous community.”
