SMALL CLAIMS COURTS JURISDICTION HIKED TO $300 000

The Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has with immediate effect increased the jurisdiction of the Small Claims Courts to $300 000 from $1 000. The move is aimed at decongesting the Magistrate Courts.
