President Mnangagwa has received letters of credence from three newly appointed diplomats at State House in Harare, formally accrediting them to represent their respective countries in Zimbabwe.
The Ambassadors are Mr Nobutaka Maekawa of Japan, the new Italian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Giuseppe Giacalone, and Mr David Asheelo Thomas of the Republic of Namibia.
Speaking to the media after presenting their credentials, the Ambassadors pledged to continue enhancing political, economic, and social relations between Zimbabwe and their respective countries.
Mr Giacalone, stated that he would work to increase bilateral relations between Zimbabwe and Italy, as well as with the European Union.
Japanese Ambassador Mr Maekawa said Tokyo and Harare will continue to increase cooperation in agriculture, mining, and human resources.
Ambassador Thomas expressed his commitment to promoting the relations between the two countries, which date back to the days of the liberation struggle.
