LOS ANGELES — R&B superstars Usher and Chris Brown have announced a joint stadium tour titled Raymond & Brown, in a move set to bring together two of the genre’s most influential artists.
According to AllHipHop, the tour was unveiled on April 10, 2026, through coordinated social media posts by both artists, accompanied by a high-energy promotional video.
The trailer features the pair riding motorcycles through city streets before arriving at a packed venue, where they step onto the stage to a roaring crowd. In the clip, Usher declares, “It’s time,” to which Brown responds, “Hell yeah,” confirming the collaboration.
The tour name carries layered significance. Usher’s full name, Usher Raymond, combined with Brown’s surname, forms “Raymond & Brown”—a reference that also spells out “R&B,” signalling a celebration of the genre both artists helped define.
While specific tour dates and venues have yet to be announced, the scale of the production is expected to be substantial, with indications pointing towards a full stadium tour later in 2026.
The announcement follows a period of increased collaboration between the two performers, whose careers span different eras of contemporary R&B. Usher rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, becoming one of the best-selling artists of his generation, while Chris Brown emerged in 2005, bringing a more dynamic and performance-driven style that has sustained his global success over two decades.
Despite past speculation about tensions between them, both artists have publicly dismissed such claims, with recent collaborations reflecting a growing professional rapport.
Industry observers note that the combined catalogue of both artists presents significant potential for a wide-ranging setlist, drawing from decades of chart-topping hits and fan favourites.
The tour announcement has already generated significant excitement among fans, with expectations of high demand once ticket sales are released. Details regarding ticket availability, supporting acts, and official dates are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The announcement also coincides with new music activity from Chris Brown, who recently released a surprise single and is expected to drop a new album next month, further building momentum ahead of the tour.
