ZANU-PF is monitoring the performance of its parliamentarians to ensure they meet expectations in their respective constituencies.

This initiative aims to foster development at the village and cell levels, in alignment with Vision 2030.

Addressing Zanu PF supporters in Zone Six, the Harare provincial vice chairman, Cde Ephraim Fundukwa, emphasised the importance of evaluating progress in each constituency.

He noted that the party is gathering feedback from the electorate to assess satisfaction with the performance of their parliamentarians.

This initiative aims to ensure accountability and responsiveness to the needs of the community.

“Vision 2030 is real; it requires everyone on position of authority to pull in one direction.

“We expect our sitting Members of Parliament and shadow MPs to push for President Mnangagwa’s agenda of leaving no one and no place behind. It’s no longer business as usual; the livelihoods of the people are what matter,” said Cde Fundukwa.

He stated that it is the duty of every Member of Parliament and their councillors to ensure their communities have access to clean water and accessible roads.

Cde Fundukwa said the time of leaving from one hotel to another, leaving larger at the expense of the electorate, is over.

“The party cannot afford to lose trust from the people because of an individual who is not willing to support President Mnangagwa’s agenda. It’s better to lose an MP than lose the electorate,” said Cde Fundukwa.
