The 2019 African Economic Conference (AEC) opened in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El Sheikh amid calls for African policymakers to take bold steps to tackle red-tape and high start-up costs in order to create decent and well-paying jobs for the youth on the continent.
Addressing the opening plenary of the three-day conference, Egyptβs Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr said the conference provided a critical platform to address the challenges of jobs for the youth on the continent. β New Ziana.
