Talent Munyaka’s bail application was heard before Harare regional magistrate Mr Taurai Manuwere.
Munyaka (30) wept in court as she tried to explain that she was innocent and knew nothing about the cocaine.
She claimed to have been arrested by police when she was having her hair plaited in the CBD.
Mr Manuwere said there were no compelling reasons to deny Munyaka bail, and ordered her to report at CID Harare every Friday.
Munyaka returns to court on July 23, pending finalisation of investigations.
She was arrested over the weekend and appeared before Harare magistrate Mrs Sharon Rakafa, who remanded her in custody to yesterday for bail application.
Prosecutor Ms Chyvonne Nhira alleged that on April 26, police received information that Munyaka was dealing in dangerous drugs in the capital.
The court heard that at around 4:30pm, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department visited the apartment and carried out surveillance.
Munyaka was allegedly observed entering apartment Number 15 and detectives followed her and found the room packed with ladies.
They identified themselves to the occupants and searched all of them, leading to the recovery and seizure of one sachet of a whitish substance suspected to be cocaine, a small spoon and a scale from a black bag that Munyaka was carrying.
